Jena is an artist based in Nashville, TN. She started drawing in kindergarten, painting in high school, and continued on through college attaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003. She started work with a scenic production company where she had the opportunity to learn the many different painting techniques of stage scenery and props, such as decorative and faux finishes, hand lettering and signs, and large scale backdrops. Since then she has worked on a variety of projects from scenery and props for music videos, commercials, and photo shoots, to commissioned portraits (pets, too!) and even bicycle frames. When not painting, she enjoyes spending time with her Jack Russell terrier and riding and racing bicycles.
